Routesetting

Our climbing routes and boulder problems are the most important part of providing a great facility for climbers. We pride ourselves on providing regularly re-set routes and problems, using up to date holds, and set by some of the UK’s top route setters.

We offer a great spread of grades, from entry-level climbs for new and young climbers, through to top-end test pieces to challenge even the strongest. You will always find a spread of grades which best reflects our climbers’ abilities and is welcoming to all. Keep an eye on our social media pages for route setting updates.

Partnerships

At The Climbing Centre Group, we pride ourselves on providing you with the highest quality climbing facilities and instruction; we also acknowledge that sometimes, the best way to give our customers great service is through partnerships with other premier organisations.

Huddersfield Climbing Centre is proud to work in partnership with the following organisations:

Patagonia grew out of a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Today alpinism remains at the heart of a business that still makes clothes for climbing as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. These are all silent sports. None require a motor but in each sport, reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between us and nature.

Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) is the charitable trust which manages 14 leisure facilities and swimming pools across Kirklees.

We are proud to have been recognised as the leading provider of indoor climbing facilities and operate Huddersfield Climbing Centre on behalf of KAL.

Started by John Ellison, Climbers Against Cancer's aim is to raise awareness and raise funds for research into the continued fight against Cancer.

We are proud to be an official supporter of CAC through our centres.

The National Trust have been protecting the UK’s heritage and open spaces for over a hundred years. Their remit includes many key climbing areas and the Climbing Centre Group work in conjunction with the trust in providing climbing activities in several of these areas, including Brimham Rocks.
